Worship & Praise
I love what Darlene Zschech says in her book Extravagant Worship, “Regardless of how magnificent the musical moments are, unless your heart is fully ENGAGED in the worship being expressed… it is still only music.” Wow, what a concept!
We are definitely living in the days of “magnificent music”. Never before has the body of Christ seen such an explosion of worship. God is raising up an army of anointed worshippers and pouring out a deluge of songs! Sunday after Sunday churches all over the world are witnessing the expression of God through music. From the smallest of churches to the mega churches, God is giving us a taste of the resplendent sounds of heaven.
The Bible chronicles David as a man after God’s own heart. He said in Psalm 103:1, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and ALL that is within me bless His holy name.” It says in 2 Samuel 6: 14 that he danced before the Lord with all his might. Now that is what I call a heart fully ENGAGED in worshipping God!
Here at The Bridge, we don’t want to just hear magnificent music, we want to be fully ENGAGED in worshipping our Savior King. We are recklessly abandoned to Him. We are in love with our Bridegroom and we express our gratitude to Him for who He is and what He’s done. Feel free to come and join us in the celebration of our King as we make His praise glorious!
