New Church... New Wine... New Wineskin...

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. The old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine must be stored in new wineskins. That way both the wine and the wineskins are preserved.

Dear Sisters,

After much prayer and with great joy, the Women's Ministries at Bridge DFW will be launching the new Naomi and Ruth relational ministry model.  It is based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19, "Go, therefore, and make disciples..."  

Our emphasis will be to build up women to be disciples of Jesus and to be a key to unlock the treasures of the Kingdom in each woman's heart.  Even as Jesus spent most of His public ministry building twelve men. Our Naomi(s): Lynda Faught, Cynthia Ritchie, Tina Robbins, and Jo Hanna Stockton will each be shepherding twelve women. 

This shift from our traditional monthly Women's Ministry Night will start in April 2009. At that time each of the four Naomi and Ruth circles will begin to meet monthly. Your Naomi will be contacting you soon. We will meet corporately as the Lord leads and gives further strategies. 

As Pastor Paul recently preached, "God desires for His Church today to do what Jesus did when He was on the earth." God is pouring out new wine into this New Church; but, the old wineskin can not contain the new wine.  We've spent the past couple of years getting rid of the old wineskin, and it's time to put on the new wineskin!  Come be a part of the New Church, the New Wine, and the New Wineskin in the Women's Ministries at Bridge DFW!
