Healing of a knee - 01/17/2009
Patricia saw our "Healing" banner, and walked up to ask us what we were doing.
I answered that we were offering to pray for any needs that people had, but especially for healing. I asked if she had any pain or illness that we could pray for. She replied, "My knee." I asked what was wrong. She simply replied, "Surgery".
I asked her if she'd like to take a seat. After she sat down, I asked if it would be ok for us to put our hands on her knee. Her knee was noticeably swollen. Then I explained that we were actually going to speak to her knee and tell the pain to go and command her knee to be healed. She indicated that was fine with her.
After we prayed, I asked if she could tell a difference. Patricia got out of the chair, walked a few steps and said, "It's not aching anymore." After a few more steps without a limp, she told us, "I've been limping on that leg for 2 months!" Harold asked if she could jump on that leg. She jumped up and down several times on that leg. Patricia began to say "Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus!"
She went off down the sidewalk walking and leaping and praising God!

Prophetic word, an answer to prayer - 01/17/2009
Nathaniel was walking along the train platform selling newspapers to benefit the homeless. I told him that sometimes I get "impressions" about people and asked him if he would like to know what impression I got about him. He said "Yes".
I told him that I felt that things had been moving very slowly for him, but that was about to change. Things were going to speed up in a powerful way.
I asked Nathaniel if that meant anything to him. He said, "That's what I've been praying for!" I listened as he told me about his faith in God, and about how his first and middle names are both in the Bible, and he understood their significance.
I hope we meet again. I'd like to hear about the positive changes that God will bring into his life.

Prophetic word, bringing encouragement and hope - 01/17/2009
I approached a young man who was waiting for a train with his mother. I asked him if I could tell him what "impression" I got about him. He nodded. I told him that there were some unanswered questions in his life - some pieces of the puzzle seemed to be missing, but that soon the missing pieces would begin to fall into place, and he would have a clearer idea about the path to his future. I asked him if that made any sense to him.
He replied "Yeah! Hey are you one of those... Aquarius... Capricorn...?"
"You mean a psychic?" I responded. "No, I'm not a psychic. I'm just learning how to hear God. I didn't know anything about you, but God knows everything about all of us, and He's saying good things about you."
He responded by asking, "Hey, what do you see for my Mom?"
His mother was on the phone, but he got her off of the phone, and I had a word of knowledge for her. Then their train arrived and they went on their way.
The young man seemed to be really appreciative. I pray that he received encouragement and hope that will lead him closer to the Lord that loves him.
